APPRAISALS

Appraisals are utilized in two ways;

• Understand the baseline of your current status in the selected focus area and derive the roadmap to achieve future state

• Official CMMI Appraisals  (Evaluation, Benchmark, Sustainment) to assess a target Maturity Level or Capability Level

Appraisals are conducted by CMMI Institute Certified SCAMPI Lead Appraisers for maturity levels 2 to 5.

Custom appraisals are a good way to analyze the gaps in the select processes (ex.project management, supplier management) in reference to industry accepted best practices and are lower in cost.
